Taterpickle Papers is a small producer of fine cards and papers.
I have loved papers and greeting cards since I was a youngster
- and nothing makes me happier than getting personal mail in my actual
mailbox. A self-proclaimed card addict, I finally decided to jump
into creating some myself.
I hope you will consider purchasing our cards for retail sales in
your shop.
Our first line of cards uses images from PIC•MIC Designs; Mickey
McDiarmid, Bellingham, WA
Somewhat reclusive, the artist of PIC•MIC Designs lives in the NW,
near the Canadian border; a land where blackberries, salmon, and rain are
the staples in life. The artist has a dual citizenship with Canada, which
she forages into. Family is a strong force in her life. Her father and his
family’s ancestry were instrumental to her attachment to the spirit of the
NW. Totem poles and other Native Art were her first visual loves.
Our second artist is Zachary C. Love
Zachary C. Love sees the world through a plethora of different
lenses and is sometimes lucky enough to be able to put what he sees in the
world down on paper. Thanks to his travels; his weird, crazy experiences;
and his multi-lens viewpoint he is able to always keep a sense of humor and
apply that in everyday life, along with his art. Zachary’s ability to
relate to all people, but especially the disenfranchised, gives his art a
unique voice. He currently resides in Santa Fe, NM but calls the world
his home.
Printing is done by WHCC (Whitehouse Custom Color)
WHCC is a fully certified Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC)
printer with a chain-of-custody certificate.
WHCC provides a high quality product with great flexibility for
the artists who use them; this along with their environmental concerns and
actions made them the perfect choice for us.
